Night crawls in slowly Edging the evening out It distracts you with its dark silky velvet Before you know it, its settled down for the long haul Its brilliant teeth chattering in glee Eyes wide open in anticipation, salvating Soft hands cajoling you into the wilderness Before you know it, you are walking over, drifting into its mesmerising web Unknowing, unseeing, full of bliss.
